Beginning from the third semester, students receive on-site research training conducted by academic experts in the field of Information Technology, enabling them to develop research competencies and prepare effectively for their final thesis through structured guidance and practical exposure.

The program maintains active Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with leading IT industries in Nepal to provide students with regular practical exposure, industry-based learning opportunities, and hands-on experience. Additionally, an annual Placement Day is organized to facilitate employment opportunities for students seeking to enter the IT industry as well as for professionals intending to transition to new organizations, thereby strengthening industry–academia collaboration and enhancing graduate employability.

The Master’s program offered by Lincoln University College is recognized through an equivalence certificate issued by the University Grants Commission (UGC), Nepal, confirming its equivalence to a Master’s-level qualification of Tribhuvan University (TU). This equivalence certificate serves as official academic documentation for graduates when applying for higher studies, employment, and academic credential evaluation in Nepal and abroad. The recognition of the qualification has enabled many graduates to successfully secure admission offers from reputed international universities, demonstrating the academic credibility and global acceptance of the Master’s program offered by Lincoln University
College.
