Educational Tour to India

A group of 30 students and 4 faculty members from the IT and Management Bachelor programs of Universal College and Phoenix College of Management organized an educational tour to India from Oct 17 to 26, 2024. The tour included visits to Sharda University, Noida, Lovely Professional University, Punjab, Golden Temple, Wagah Border, and some IT Companies too. The tour aimed to expose students and faculty members to international academic environments, innovative research practices to explore future collaboration possibilities, and modern college facilities. The trip provided a platform for students to gain insights into emerging trends in the field of IT and Management. Additionally, the faculty members had opportunities to network with their counterparts and explore potential academic collaborations.

The group was warmly welcomed by the administrative staff of both universities and showcased their state-of-the-art infrastructures and vibrant campus life. Our students participated in campus tours, attended lectures, and engaged in discussions with faculty from relevant departments. They also had chances to explore research & IT Labs, libraries, and other learning resources, along with interactions with faculty and students. and hold discussions with faculty and students.

The tour provided us with valuable insights into international education culture, innovative research practices, career development opportunities, and insights into collaborative programs, internships, student exchange, and faculty development supports.

The participants expressed their satisfaction with the organization and execution of the tour. Our students definitely found the experience enriching as it helped bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application. Faculty members appreciated the opportunity to explore partnerships and exchange teaching practices.

The educational tour was a resounding success. It not only enhanced the students’ understanding of international academic standards but also inspired them to pursue further education and research opportunities. The event also laid the foundations for potential collaborations between us and visited IT companies and universities.
